Who Are You Inspiring Today – Part II

Are you able to see the pain in someone’s eyes? Or, are you too caught up in your own struggles to notice?

It has been proven time and time again, that when all else fails being of service to another human being will save the day.  If you’re caught up in your own drama of life, you will miss countless opportunities to be available to inspire and motivate others.

It doesn’t take much to inspire and motivate.

Call someone up on the phone.   When all you can think about is what’s wrong in your world, call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while and simply ask them how they’re doing.  Be sure not interfere and start vomiting at the mouth about what’s going on with you.  Shut up and listen!  You will be amazed to discover the problems you thought you had suddenly don’t seem so drastic.

Compliment someone. A compliment goes a long way, especially if someone is suffering from low self-esteem or feeling as if they don’t measure up. You take the lead and make someone feel special.  Speak words of encouragement, appreciation, support and respect. The more you notice good things about others, you’ll start noticing good things about you.

Smile. A smile is worth a thousand words and can certainly warm the heart.  It can
also be the opening for a meaningful conversation that can make a difference in someone’s day.

“If you light a lamp for someone else, it will also brighten your path.”
